They should be so ashamed of themselves. It's bad enough to teach your children to lie but to deceive law enforcement and everyone else the way they did is unthinkable. They should be punished to the full extent of the law and the kids would probably be better off in foster care than with their irresponsible parents.
Here I am! I've been busy having my yearly "Old Hag" party and that takes a lot of time... I think tv in the bedroom is fine. My husband goes to bed much earlier than me and he likes to fall asleep with the tv on. When he's gone overnight I LOVE to lay in bed and watch tv.
I'm not big on having a tv in the bedroom, unless I'm sick. Then it can be nice to be in bed and watch tv instead of being on the couch being in the way of others. Mike and I wouldn't watch tv in bed, if the other person was asleep, either. I wouldn't complain about anyone having a tv in their bedroom, unless they leave it on while being intimate. That would be rude. Well, unless they were using movies to "enhance" their bedroom life. LOL Anyway, bedrooms and tv's don't really go together for me.
President Obama is trying to ease U.S. conflicts with nations of the Muslim persuasion. Committee members were happy about the change in global mood brought about by President Obama calling for peace and cooperation, and believe in his his pledges to reduce the world's nuclear weapons. President Obama is even strengthening our role in the fight against climate change. These are all great reasons, even though most have not yet been accomplished. Al Gore won for making a video and giving lectures about climate change, so Prsident Obama has done more than some past Nobel winners. I've always felt that the prize was normally awarded to those who make more of an effect on a world wide basis not just in their own country. Many of this years nominees were dedicated and did great work but basically for the population of their country and not for the world. People try to change things and make a difference and MANY do not get it accomplished. that doesn't mean their dedication and attempts are any less appreciated. In simple terms...."It's the thought that counts." I know it's not as simple as that but do remember that. Others have won awards for things they've tried to accomplish, even though they failed.
Sure he was deserving of it; you know considering the competition. I hope when you have more time you at least have an example of why he's deserving of this prize, other than his good looks and great speaking ability that is.
The question I want answered is who nominated him two weeks into his presidency? That individual needs to be slapped upside their head.
Illegal aliens shouldn't be counted. Shouldn't be allowed in our schools. Shouldn't be allowed welfare. And on and on. They should only be counted, so we know how many we are really dealing with!
As I was driving out of town on Friday morning and heard this news, I knew this debate would be on here, before I got home on Sunday night.
I was wrong in one way. I figured the person posting it would title it King Obama, instead he titled it Barack Hussein Obama. Anything he can use as a negative connotation of our president.
It's late and I still have paperwork to do from my trip and from being gone from work for the past three days, so that's all I'll say for now.
Uh, no. Population numbers determines how many representatives states get. The last thing we need are more liberal wacko representatives from Mexifornia. If you're not a legal tax paying citizen you shouldn't count and you shouldn't be on the tax payroll (aka;welfare) either.
