I haven't turned into a crazy Fox loving, semi-auto toting, god-fearing, right winger... I'm just saying - don't touch the goddamn internets.

Sir you have successfully struck a nerve with me. If someone hits a "kill switch" on the internet, I'm sure 1,000 *other* "kill switches" will be hit shortly after...

"The right to swing my fist ends where the other man's nose begins." Oliver Wendell Holmes

And he's dead on. If I'm not hurting anyone else except possibly myself, I should be free to do what I want. Victimless crimes shouldn't even be crimes at all.

In a year? The dollar will rise a fair amount, and all because Europe's financial system is in the gutter. There's nowhere else to turn, really.

In a few years when the European system levels out and has a sense of normalcy? The dollar is going to plummet. We have too high of a national debt, where we will have to cut back drastically on most major services or else default on our loans.

Both sides make messes out of literally every issue, but the Democrats can take more of the blame for this one. So the Democrats can have the housing crisis and the upcoming healthcare bill fiasco, while the Republicans can have shady business dealings / lobbyists making policy and the cause of the financial meltdown.

There. Even. If only this were an academic debate instead of policies that make the citizens have a harder time at life.

Nixon caused a lot of problems, but Bush started two unwarranted and costly wars, destroyed what was left of the American "good name", and put us on a path to complete financial meltdown. At the same time, he sat back and let a major US city be destroyed without making a decent effort to help those affected (New Orleans - Katrina).

Nixon was shady and did a lot of backdoor things to hurt the nation as a whole, but Bush was unprecedented in that. Bush as one of the greatest presidents? Right. Can you give or sell me whatever it is that you're smoking?

Here are a few situations to consider:

    Poland and Czech Republic.

“Former US President George W Bush had signed deals to base interceptor missiles in Poland and a radar in the Czech Republic.”

“US President Barack Obama has cancelled plans to station an anti-ballistic missile system in Poland and the Czech Republic.” Source: http://tinyurl.com/poland-missile-defense-cancel

The purpose of the missile defense system was to protect US allies in Europe from the future potential attacks from Iran.

    North and South Korea.

“ A North Korean submarine's torpedo sank a South Korean navy ship on 26 March causing the deaths of 46 sailors, an international report has found.”

Visit the following link to see images of the torpedo remnants found that link the torpedo to North Korea. Let’s stop and ask ourselves, how would we (the United States of America) react to a deliberate attack from a foreign nation on one of our military vessels? Iran and Isreal.

A couple of horrific statements made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

“ Iran's new president created a sense of outrage in the west yesterday by describing Israel as a "disgraceful blot" that should be "wiped off the face of the earth". Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is more hardline than his predecessor, told students in Tehran that a new wave of Palestinian attacks would be enough to finish off Israel.” (From 2005) Source: http://tinyurl.com/wipe-isreal-off-map

In speaking about the Jewish Holocaust the President said: "They have created a myth today that they call the massacre of Jews and they consider it a principle above God, religions and the prophets,"(From 2005) Source: http://tinyurl.com/holocaust-did-not-happen

    Iran’s Nuclear Status:

“Iran's nuclear progress comes through clearly in the latest report by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Released Monday ahead of the sanctions vote, the U.N. agency reports that Iran now has produced enough nuclear fuel to make two atomic weapons. As the U.S. was trying to extend a hand to Tehran and engage in talks in the past year, the Iranians nearly doubled their stock of 5%-enriched uranium to 5,300 pounds. The IAEA also says Iran has started to enrich small but growing amounts of uranium up to 20%, installing new centrifuges for that purpose.” Source: http://tinyurl.com/iran-nuclear-progress

    Israel’s military actions:

“At least nine people have been killed after Israeli commandos stormed a convoy of ships carrying aid to the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army says.” Source: http://tinyurl.com/isrealshipattack

I'll try and add some information on Greece as well.
