It's funny how items that were initially luxury items quickly become necessities. There is no way I could go without my cell phone. On the rare occurrence that I forget to bring or charge my phone I feel lost. Sad? Yes it is.

I used to think a home phone was a necessity but we now go without it. Another item I don't know how I lived without is my GPS or dumb dumb as my folks call it.

I think there is a big difference between letting them play and allowing flagrant hits. I punished my boys when they got to rough but let them work out there own fights until that point. There should be stiff penalties for TRYING to hurt someone as opposed to just stopping them. I love football but I think it's becoming more like hockey and I don't like to watch grown men try to kill each other for entertainment. It's sick. I see a lack of self control (as in the Titan/Texan game) that is ridiculous.

I am very edgy when I see Muslims on a flight I'm getting on. I think we should all be that way and be on alert in case action needs to be taken. The people on flight 93 left a legacy of courage that I hope we will never forget. I think of them and the other people in the planes that crashed into buildings every day and even more so when I fly. Muslims, good or bad, remind me of that.
