Lack of Judges Will End the Show

Will big names like Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, Jimmy Iovine, and Randy Jackson remaining at the judges table be enough to make up for the lack of Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul? Will American Idol continue its success or face its demise?

I don't think the show will go on for much longer. I couldn't imagine the show without Simon. It seems to get worse each year.

Isn't "Americas Got Talent" basically the same thing?

I think it will fade in popularity because, lets face it, Simon was the show. It's had a nice long run but I think this year will be the last.

Never really liked Idol so I think even with the big names it'll go deep 6 as well.

According to American Idol's website they are listing big names like Steven Tyler and Jlo on the judges page but I don't think it will be enough to maintain the viewership they've had. In my opinion.

The link to the judges page no longer exists.
