I am not a huge fan of either, but I still think that twilight is feeding off the jet engine exhaust of harry potter and the market of its younger audience.

I have only seen the movies for Harry Potter, have not read them. I read all 4 Twilight books in Dec. and then saw the first Twilight movie. Didn't think I would like the series, since I don't generally care to read about vampires and werewolves but I LOVE Twilight. Probably as much as I loved reading Dan Brown's Angels & Demon's, The Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, etc. Just pugging another great author. Anyway, Twiilight has my vote. Can't wait for the New Moon movie!

Harry Potter is an excellent story that creates a unique and imaginative world. It is well written. Twilight is not only poorly written, but also sexist. Pathetic. There is no question which book is better here.

I haven't read either one but I just watched my 10 year old granddaughter spend 3 days reading one of the Twilight books like there was no tomorrow. She kept giving me updates about what was going on in the story. I usually can't get her to tell me anything about books she's reading because she's just not that into them. So, Twilight gets my vote but all I know is that it's about vampires. I used to be madly in love with a vampire by the name of Barnabas on "Dark Shadows" when I was about 10 years old. Now I just think they are creepy so I must be getting old.

broken down, it's chick flick/book v.s. children's adventure story/film. so most dudes will choose potter and ladies will root for twilight. however i equally love/hate both of them. what ever happen to real adventure movies like "Willow", and kicken love stories like....umm...mmm....there has to be one out there.....o i got one, "True Romance".

I just watched Twilight on YouTube and I can't understand how you can even compare it to Harry Potter. It'd be like - comparing Labyrinth to Lord of the Rings except Labyrinth is fricking sweet.

Twilight is a new series of books by Stephanie Meyers, her first novel. I saw the movie, i loved it. It's as much of a love story as it is a movie about vampires. Watch the movie
