Although I voted for nursing areas I also understand it is not realistic to have them everywhere. I spent a lot of time covered up with a blanket nursing my kids. I also sat out in the car a lot. I remember a few times having a family restroom to sit in but that was usually at department stores.=)

I understand its part of being a parent but Ive seen people in public areas whipping out their breast to start feeding. Thats so rude I think. I think they should make better facilities for this kind of thing. But the family bathroom is starting to become more and more common around here in California.

Yes, they most definitely should. Nursing in public isn't as accepted as bottle feeding and thats just not right. Nursing moms should get more credit than they do and should be more accommodated. My husband and I went out to eat the other day and we had to cut it short because the baby got hungry and unless I wanted to go sit in a bathroom near a toilet there was no where for me to nurse her. Not everyone wants to nurse in public especially when you have a waiter and not a waitress. Also where you work should have to provide a nice, clean, private place to nurse. There are support groups for breastfeeding but I believe it stops there.

I really enjoy going to the theatre more than watching a movie at home. Yes, it is outrageously expensive, but the phone doesn't ring, the dryer doesn't beep, no one drops in to say hi and the popcorn at the theatre has zero calories!.......at least that's what I choose to believe!! :)

The biggest problem is nobody pays attention. its basically free money for them since nobody asks how they plan on getting off the food stamps. but then if a guy gets out of the military and collects unemployment they eventually kick him off.

Uh... YES! If you're bummin, you're slummin. Why should those who are not working and are accepting welfare be treated the same as those who are out working hard to support themselves and pay taxes. In the beginning of welfare there was some shame involved in being on the gravy train. Now we do everything to make it more acceptable. That's why we are trillions of dollars in debt. Wake up people! Those of you who look at welfare as a permanent way of life are in for a rude awakening when the tax numbers come in this year. Look this word up if you have a dictionary. DEFICIT!

I have actually never been to the drive in. I think it would be nice but I would still rather be at home. The food, candy, and drinks are outrageously expensive! I'm not going to pay $3.50 for a box of candy when I can get it for $1.00 at the store.

I see people all the time buying nothing but junk food with their food stamp cards. I'm not talking like a candy bar or two I'm talking about bags and bags of candy. They should have to buy healthier foods like with the WIC program.
