The only promise is that America will have to pay more money for the same garbage health care that we have now. The only insurance I can afford now is with a 3,000 dollar deductible. I am sorry, I lied, it is actually the only thing offered to me for me and my son. I have friends who can not afford health care right now for themselves and their kids, and now they are going to have to pay a tax for nothing! This is treason scum and illegal. America will now have to pay for nothing but make the rich richer, and they are not even guaranteed health care! We have now lossed our 4th ammendment right to our person. It does not matter if we want to try to get health care or not, the state is forcing us to get it. The state has no right to force anything onto our bodies. NO RIGHT! Medical care is for our bodies! Obama lied! Obama Lied! Obama lied! You are not guaranteed anything damn thing but more taxes. How dare anyone support this. If you do you are a traitor to the republic! Traitor!!! This does not guarantee health care to everyone! It is a lie, and their are already hundreds of companies immune from this.(immune from having to give health care insurance) This is a mafia of a few big insurance companies (who wrote the bill), and the IRS and will do nothing but make the IRS bigger and fatter!)

Even if it were company policy, give the man a slap on the wrist and one on the back, but you fire him because he helped to save the life of another human being? Policy or not, that's just wrong in my book.

LOL. Ryan, what have I told you about that? Stop watching mainstream media. Whether it's liberal MSNBC or conservative FOX, you will only get whatever agenda they wish to force feed you. Democrat or Republican, polticians rarely choose to do things like this because they believe it's the right thing to do. I admit though, every time Issa opens his mouth I too throw up a little in mine.

I can make assumptions all day long as to why any President has used Executive Privilege, but it won't make me right. It won't mean that it was because they were being dishonest, or that they were doing so to protect the integrity or lives of others. It just means they are protecting information for one reason or another.

When Bush used Executive Privilege several times I never questioned why? I never assumed he was hiding anything. I would like to think he was doing it for a good reason. I'll never know, and quite frankly, I don't need to.

I do find it hypocritical though that Congress held Holder in contempt when Alberto Gonzalez's admission of knowing all about "Fast and Furious" never brought forth a single charge.

He ran outside the boundary of his company's "protection" zone to save a man's life. How was he rewarded for his heroism and bravery? He was fired. Yep. That's right. For saving a man's life he got exactly what he deserved? What do you think?

I'm definitely closer to side A on this one but the simple fact is that 99.9999999999% of politicians very rarely take actions because it's the right thing to do is why I'm taking a neutral stance.. Nearly all politicians have teams of people weighing the political downfall or benefit of any action taken. That's one of the problems with DC, it's full of politicians.

I actually attempted to watch MSNBC again the other day and again threw up in my mouth as they had a show full of guest saying anything they could to minimize the gun running scandal. This is why no news outlet can be trusted because just like the blunder of Fox News muting a guest who mentioned the Keating scandal during the 2008 presidential campaign they will skew the coverage to their political view.

I do find it funny that democrats are attempting to discredit people for asking legitimate questions about a scandal that cost American and Mexican lives. Maybe we should be asking why President Obama invoked the Executive Privilege and what exactly his administration is hiding?

So far Congressman Issa has issued subpoenas for thousands of documents which thus far Attorney General Eric Holder has refused to release. After much debate President Barack Obama finally did something he has never done. He claimed Executive Privilege for the first time during his administration. Now the House has issued a charge of contempt against the Attorney General. Is this really about finding out the "truth"? Is it really a fact-finding mission in order to bring about justice, or just another "dog and pony" show by the republicans to embarrass Holder and Obama's administration in the hopes it will hurt Obama's re-election? Or is it something simpler than that? Issa 2016? Did Issa simply jump on the bandwagon in hopes of riding it all the way to the White House? What's your opinion?

Working in the grocery industry has really made me dread the first week of EVERY month! If you don't agree with the following comment then you might try spending a few hours in your local grocery store the first couple days of any month.

    This weeks EBT summary:

Two EBT customers within 5 minutes of one another had the nerve to $$##& about the number of registers open at the Athens, TN Wal-Mart. One woman was so horrendous that I actually cringed at the sound of her voice and then after #*@$&*& the brilliant woman realized there was several self checkouts open.

Another customer, a man yelled out, "I would fire half of your sorry asses". How do I know they were EBT customers? I was stocking the gum at the front registers and in both situations spotted that glorious American Flag covered piece of plastic.

I landed myself in the middle of a full blown EBT and WIC negotiation among a couple of friends where one man offered to buy an item for the other man because he could pick it up on his WIC. I'm so glad you people are able to negotiate how the money you are stealing from those of us who actually contribute to society.

I also spotted a very nice dressed young women sifting through her WIC certificates as she was casually texting on her Blackberry. This is unacceptable. If you can't afford to feed your Flipping child then how in the hell can you actually afford a blackberry and the pricey service that comes with that device?

Of course you can't go a single EBT shopping spree week without seeing the 19 something woman with a child pushing one buggy full of groceries with another full buggy trailing behind her(Filled with frito's, ice cream, suger filled cereal, etc...).

Political correctness has made it unacceptable to frown on this behavior and actions but I'm done with the PC; If you've been receiving EBT benefits for more than a few months and your EBT isn't being funded by alimony or some other source other than the tax payers guess what? Chances are you're Trash and you make me sick. ;) Not only are you stealing from working Americans you are deterioration our society as your kids are learning from you day in, day out. Thank you for the wonderful influence you are providing your children.

You're welcome, been very busy or I would have responded sooner.

LGBT: What I'm referring to is that his support is purely political in that he could have supported the community long before now and the timing is obvious; that's all.

Racial issue: I don't see this as a minor thing but respect your opinion. For kicks and giggles though, what would have happened if those were tea party members intimidating people at the voting precinct?

With only a few exceptions Ryan I applaud Obama for everything you listed. The only things you mentioned that didn't make since to me were the economic, gay issues, and racial issues. The Wall Street Journal and CBO showed that Obama's spending has been the lowest in his first four years than any other President since before Reagan. I don't see why you think he's toying with the LGBT community. It's about time he made a decision on the matter. I'm glad he came out in favor of it. As far as the racial issues are concerned... ...I'm not concerned by them. They are the least of my worries. On the economic front he has done quite a bit so far to boost the economy and has plans to help the housing market soon. I would have liked to have seen Congress work with him on unemployment and the economy, but that's the fault of bi-partisan politics in the Capitol building. If they truly wanted to help America get back on track they would, but all they can think about is making Obama look as bad as possible. It is an election year.

All of the other issues you mentioned are important, but just seem minor to me. I think we should consider other priorities. Thank you for your time though. I am considering it, but honestly, I haven't seen much in the way of a reason NOT to vote for him this fall. By that I mean voting for Romney. There's just nothing to prove to me that Romney's policies will not mirror most of Obama's or that they might be better.

Now, Crystal, really? I don't expect you to vote for Barack Obama, but to say he's done nothing to prove himself isn't fair. He's accomplished quite a bit so far. I can go down the list, but it would take a while. I can understand why you're not happy with your choice either, but you would seriously vote for Romney? Why?
