I hate to admit that I'm an Eminem fan at my age but I've always liked his music and the beat just sticks in your head. I always buy the cleaned up version.
I loved the Beatles and remember the night they were on Ed Sullivan. My dad kept calling them beatniks because of their "long hair.' I fell for Paul that night!! He's so much more outgoing and upbeat than the other guys so I think it made him stand out more. I loved David Archuleta too.
I just ate at Panera's for the first time and it was great. I loved the food and the pager to let me know when my food was ready. I had broccoli cheese soup and it was delicious.
I think I would be mortified but I can't handle green snot. I worked in pediatrics and could handle blood, poo-poo etc... but green snot could send me bolting from the room.
Call me old fashioned but I like to shop in person. I like to see, feel, and sometimes, smell before I buy. And John freaks out about everyone wanting to steal our identity so I shop online as little as possible..
My husband belonged to a union (retail clerks in Sacramento to be exact...) and after 30+ years of loyalty to them they screwed us out of half the money we were promised at retirement. There has never really been an election for union president because when someone tries to run they get strong armed out by union people. The last president somehow handed it over to his son with no election. We were granted an arbitration and they hired a very expensive guy who does sports deals and he said to my husband just prior to the hearing, "Man, it must be nice to retire at your age..." We lost, big surprise. Oh well, I'd rather be in Tennessee broke than in California with money.
