Very well said Dollyfan! I too am sick of what our system has become. No one should vote straight party lines. We must educate ourselves about all candidates and propositions before voting. We have all become lazy!
I am hopeful that they will not be stupid enough to make high demands. I need football to distract me from all the crap going on in the world right now.
I think we are in a weather pattern but I believe God sent us a warning about this winter through nature. Look up farmers almanac 20 signs of a hard winter and see what I mean. We had a lot of the signs here in TN. I'm a weather freak and study weather patterns and they do prove that we have these kind of fluctuations. If global warming exists we've been having it for a long time. Nature does more damage (volcanic eruptions) to the earth than we do. On the subject of God I always say if I'm wrong, I've lost nothing. If you're wrong, you've lost everything. On the subject of snow... I'm not tired of it yet. I hope we get one more good snow before spring. I LOVE snow!
I enjoy Ellen and her comments but don't understand why they would pick someone who has not music background. I miss Paula and Simon's interaction on the show.
I love Ellen but I definitely prefer Paula to Ellen. The bottom line is that Ellen doesn't sing (pleasantly), doesn't write music (Her staff may), and she has nothing to do with the music industry (Other than interviewing musicians).
