As an individual who is uncertain of his religious stance let me play devils advocate and ask a question about Christianity.

I've heard repeatedly from the likes of liberals and athiests like Bill Mahr quoting horrendous versus in the bible. One that comes to mind; something like ...if your neighbor comes upon your land he should surely die. (This is from memory and I'm sure it's off a bit but you get the point.) So basically Muslims would counter the versus above with offensive versus found in the bible.

* Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85)
* The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30)
* Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. (5:33)
* The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:28)
* Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies (22:19)
* Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4)
* The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them (8:65)
* Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28)
* Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Quran (8:12)
* Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels (8:60)

The quran [5.51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

"When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them. "

Muslims are allowed to lie to unbelievers in order to defeat them. The two forms are:

Taqiyya - Saying something that isn't true.

Kitman - Lying by omission. An example would be when Muslim apologists quote only a fragment of verse 5:32 (that if anyone kills "it shall be as if he had killed all mankind") while neglecting to mention that the rest of the verse (and the next) mandate murder in undefined cases of "corruption" and "mischief."

I'd be very curious to see the evidence that's brought you to this conclusion. I've heard varying opinions on the religion of Islam and I have to admit they left out a majority of the negatives I've heard when I took a religions of the world course in college.

When I see an obvious muslim anywhere, I think to myself, "These people think that a mass murdering pedophile is the greatest man to have ever lived." I often wonder they can reconcile muhammad's pedophilia, his wanton thieving and murdering, and the terrorizing of nonbelievers.

I have alot of tattoos and all of them have a meaning to me. its kind of a cool way to express yourself i think. tribal sucks though. but if your in a career field that accepts a thing like excessive tattooing you better be ready to stick with it for a while.

well high school to pro there isnt much skill its more of just dancing, which a little off the subject is why i hate the marine corps silent drill team, the college level cheer leaders and some of the high school ones are pretty competitive but seems more like gymnastics. I dunno pro dance squads and cheer squads kinda make it a pretty pom pom thing.
