Doing a lot of Atlanta freeway driving, I've seen many near-miss accidents because the driver at fault did not use his/her indicator. My husband, Henry, has gotten TWO tickets for not using his, and he agrees that he deserved them!

Well said Rick! People also need to stop texting and driving because it only takes a couple seconds for something bad to happen when you take your eyes off the road.

Of course you should be ticketed. None of us are mind readers. It wouldn't be law in almost all of the 50 states if it weren't somehow important during the course of operating a vehicle. This happens to me all the time and normally I'm very easy going in all other areas of the day, but let someone in front of me turn or change lanes without using their signal properly and I honk my horn as loud as I can!!! I hope it embarrasses the heck out of them. It's not as if the driver has some complex act to commit in order to turn the device on. You simply push up to turn right or down to turn left. It's not rocket science for god's sake and yes, it saves lives!! Not to mention it's just plain old common courtesy.

I wish I'd see anyone pulled over for anything in Monroe County. I don't know where the cops are but I only see them lead funeral processions and stopping to eat. Once I was following an obviously drunk driver and called it in to 911. I saw the cop pull the guy over and then send him on his way still weaving all over the road and on and off the shoulder. Must have been a friend of his....

I started this rivalry because this is something I encounter on a daily basis and it makes me sick to my stomach. If I got a dollar for every time I saw someone NOT use their turn signal, I would be a Very rich women. People dont realize that just the simple flip of your turn signal could save your life. You Should be pulled over and without a doubt get a ticket. And yes, I Always use my turn signal No matter what!!
