I Like the Santorum Rombo Ad

Stupid Political Rhetoric. Bad Ad.

Rivalry Side B | Politics | Elections

The Rick Santorum campaign just released a new campaign ad with a Mitt Romney lookalike slinging muddy rounds from a gun at Presidential hopeful Santorum. Is this ad a creative political campaign ad or is it childish irrelevant rhetoric?

I don't like Romney. I prefer him over Santorum. I am a democrat and always will be.

If the "Progressives" here hate the ad then it must be a good one. Romney is just another Progressive traitor and while I don't find Santorum a particularly inspiring candidate, he is infinitely better than Romney. Time to take out the "Progressive" trash.

This is nothing more than the pot calling the kettle black. Every politician is guilty at some point or another of "mud-slinging". It is an unfortunate by-product of campaigning for political office. As far as I am concerned they can all continue slinging the proverbial mud if they like as long as it doesn't take the nasty turn toward personal issues. A person's personal life is just that. Personal. If it does not in any way impede their ability to execute their office in an effective manner then it's none of our business. That is actually what I would consider to be a form of "mud-slinging". If you attack a person's voting record or stance on abortion that is simply arguing your opinion. If you suggest that a candidate wished to have an open marriage then that to me is actually mud-slinging. Thankfully none of the candidates have done so... ...so far. So for Santorum's side to suggest that Romney has engaged in some form of "mud-slinging" is utterly ridiculous. Romney's side has only engaged in arguments and debates over certain beliefs and the so-called "records" of Rick Santorum. In America we call this campaigning. This ad is laughable at best and ridiculous at its worst.
