I see they're going to release a Michael Jackson movie called "This Is It" which will feature his rehearsals for the concerts he was going to perform. It comes out Oct. 28 and I'll be there to see it.

Michael was AWSOME! He did a lot for music. Even my kids know who he is and like his music. I agree about him being our Elvis!

When I heard about Michael's passing, I thought of you as a little girl wearing one glove and having his posters on your wall. I knew you'd miss him!

He will always be a musical icon. One thing I always wonder about is the time certain artists take in between albums and touring. If he had money problems, recording/touring on a consistent basis - every other year - would have probably wiped his debt out. I wonder, do these gifted artists love what they do? For instance, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Kobe Bryant has played basketball somewhere since he won the championship. Isn't it reasonable to expect these talented people to exercise their talents on a semi-regular basis?

I'm sure a majority love what they do. I was listening to the radio the other day as the host was describing just how intense Kobe Bryant's training regiment is and oh my. That guy is two parts talented and ten parts dedicated.

I would think they enjoy what they do. Otherwise, they'd probably make a few million and quit. I think, if I sang and made about 10 million, I'd then quit. But mosy of them keep making albums even after being in the business for 30 years, so I SURE hope they love doing it.

I will for sure remember him as an Icon. I enjoyed watching him sing and dance on stage. It's too bad he's gone. He has been a bit crazy at times but he is still amazing.

Michael is like the Elvis Presley of this generation! Very talented and a very good vision of music. He will be remembered for his music for a long, long time and will probably make more moeny in death than what Elvis makes in death...and that's a LOT of money. I only played Michael's music in the salon all day on Friday as a tribute to his talent and all of my customers loved it and it gave us all a lot to talk about. It was a sad but great day.

Michael may have been a bit crazy towards the end but his talent and musical archive is undeniable. I'll personally choose to remember the man for his unbelievable talent and musical accomplishments. Farewell Michael.
