Very good comments, I do agree with all of your views. I would just like to say the drinking age should be removed completely, if you look at some of these 3rd would countries that dont have a drinking age, there are actually very few of the youth that drink. I believe its because theres no one saying "No, you can't drink because your not old enough." I don't know about everyone-else, but if you tell me I can't do something I'm gonna find a way to do it anyway, that being said if we say yeah go ahead and get you a beer or any other beverage, it's gonna take that urge for the younger people to drink away. I know that since I've turned 21 I have drunk less than before I turned 21. It's just not as thrilling anymore. Anyway thanks for reading my book. lol

Actually I think they should raise the drinking age to 25. I am all for that! You aren't mature enough at the age of 21, although some 25 year olds aren't mature either.

Big amen! I don't drink, except when my friend Linda makes me one of her delicious margaritas a few times a year or someone opens a really good bottle of port wine, but I think if you are old enough to fight for your country you should be able to belt down a beer when you get the opportunity. I don't think the drinking age at 21 is stopping anyone from drinking but lowering it to 18 would mean younger and less mature people would be able to buy it for the even younger crowd. I think we need to continue to educate our teens and take them to the morgue every now and then to see what happens when you drink and drive.

I think the current drinking age is good but I would lower it for those in the military (to 18) as long as they're active and haven't been dishonorably discharged. Old enough to serve our country and give their lives they should be able to drink a damn beer. Can I get an Amen?
