Minnesota Senate Race, Plagued With Defects, Could End in Supreme Court or Revote
March 02, 2009
Gov. Tim Pawlenty says Sen. Norm Coleman has "a plausible chance, a decent chance" to prevail. He says a second election is "highly unlikely" under Minnesota law.

I don't like Franken but I don't see any reason to think he stole it. He was well ahead in the polls prior to the election, and won in the final count mostly as a result of previously missing and inappropriately rejected ballots.

I can't disagree with you on this. I too don't see enough evidence to say this guy stole it, but honestly I just don't like the SOB and couldn't side with him.

Let's not forget, "He's good enough, he's smart enough, and gosh darnit people apparently like him."

“The people get the government they deserve” but you have to define people. If you just let anyone (many times ignorant of the issues) cast a vote (maybe for who makes them feel better or has a better ad) then you may allow that vote to cancel out the well informed educated voter who researched the issues and candidates. How many people do you know that can name their representatives and senators?

If the vote was stolen it was not by him but by those who acted on his behalf - with that thought it is kinda hard to choose a side...

Any state that would give that dumb ass enough votes to be anywhere close deserves whatever happens to them with Franken representing them.
