I love those hot dogs with the cheese in the middle and nothing beats a good corn dog. I like the fact that I can pop a hot dog into the microwave and be eating it in less than a minute. Hamburgers take too long and I hate shaping them into patties.

Well said...Our present government is making changes by hiding things in bills that look innocent enough until you read the fine print. I believe that's exactly what they are doing with the assault weapons. They will come up with a bill that apparently bans them but upon further exam will be much more extensive. Since our lawmakers are passing bills they haven't even read this can and will happen if we don't scream loud enough.

I would like to add that my husband and I worked very hard to get into our first home and did without a lot of things to accomplish this. We have always bought less house than what we could afford and I credit this fact for getting us through very difficult and challenging times. If more people would settle for less expensive, smaller homes we wouldn't have the enormous foreclosure figures we are seeing today. There's been a lot of greed on both sides and that is the other side of this problem. That being said, no one should buy a house if they can't afford to make the payments. That hurts everybody, not just the person who buys the house. We did everything right and yet our house is worth at least 20 thousand less than it was a year ago. We are paying the price for other peoples lack of responsibility. That's not fair.

Getting low income people into homes they can't afford has done more to destroy the housing market than anything I've ever seen in my 54 years of living. I would like to think we've learned something from this but apparently we have not. ACORN is still out there doing their thing. They need to be shut down NOW!

I have to agree about people in the midwest. I just came back from a trip to my hometown in Kansas and they seem to have it all together. I guess I should have specified that I was talking about Tennessee and not New York. I think most big cities and metropolitan areas seem to have a lot of people who are big on education but short on common sense.

Well said Mr Kazinec. I would just like to add that another of my concerns about this appointment is a comment she made in regards to the increasing diversity on the federal bench. She said this, "will have an effect on the development of the law and on judging." I thought the job of federal judges is to make judgments based on facts and the law not on race, gender, emotion, or anything else. This is a very frightening way of thinking in my opinion.

Obviously, it shows good sportsmanship. I would imagine that's why it has been done all of these years. Makes you look like a loser to just walk off the field.
