I have never heard HIM say that he is a US citizen. I've seen enough evidence to at least make me wonder, just not enough to say for sure either way. I lean towards not a citizen because, if he is, why don't they produce a birth certificate and shut us all up?
Brief announcement which will be made official through a blog post later this week.
It is not the position of this website to silence ANYONE but it has always been the underlying mission to allow JealousBrother users to get what they want out of the site. To be as involved or uninvolved in the discussions as they please. For this I have to apologize to many users who feel forced into a level of involvement other than there choosing.
It has always been the goal of our website to ensure freedom of speech lives on and that will remain our goal, but it is also our responsibility to allow individuals the option to turn the speech up or down as they please.
With that being said we have moved a "block user" feature to the near front of our development queue. In the near future I will be adding a rivalry for users to decide which feature gets developed first and if they'd like this feature implemented before all others.
As the owner of this website I am very sorry for overlooking this feature in the original course of development.
Then allow me to go even further. I have never said I am any better or more intelligent. What I have said time and time again is that if you expect to argue a point do not base your arguments on unfounded truths, innuendos, gut feelings, or likewise. It is both irresponsible and ignorant! Believe me when I tell you that so far NOTHING you have offered up as an argument recently is the LEAST bit impressive to me! It reeks of misinformation and assumptions. Which apparently seems to be all that you can offer. Let me know when you can argue a point while presenting something that resembles facts instead of “opinions”. As my father always said “Opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one and it stinks!”.
Neither is it yours so don't expect me to be quiet about anything I believe. If you don't like what I have to say and cannot offer an intelligent retort then I suggest you stop reading mine. I will do as I please.
I've heard this debated back and forth and have yet to be convinced that he is not a citizen. It would the biggest deception in the history of our country if he was able to get elected without being a natural born citizen.
Would I love for this to be true? You bet but as of right now I don't believe it is.
With the vast amount of wealth that exists in California thanks to the movie industry, the technology industry, and the sheer number of citizens paying taxes, there should be no reason for them to be failing so drastically. Until they do something about the illegals and the massive amount of generational welfare recipients in the state, they will continue to fail, no matter how much money we throw down that deep black hole. Their legislators attempted to make necessary changes and the unions quickly rose up and said, "Hell no!" I spent most of my life there and have many family members who still live there but are starting to wish they didn't. The cost of living is astronomical which is why we left. We couldn't afford the state tax, the vehicle registration fees, (my 1990 Miata cost me almost 400 dollars a year in 2003...) the smog certification required every other year, (about 200 dollars) the power bills, (about 400-500 a month for our 3 bedroom duplex) and the car and home insurance which was way more than here. Property taxes were 2-3 times higher than Tn. And with all those taxes they still can't make ends meet. They can't make ends meet because they are not making smart use of their money and because the system is being drained by too many illegals and welfare recipients. Tennessee at least has the valid excuse of too many low income citizens and low taxes and no state tax. California needs to make changes that won't be allowed because of the unions and extremely liberal politicians who are running the state.
Considering that Muslims killed 3,000 Americans and then laughed and danced in the streetd, I find it difficult to understand why this project passed with a 29-1 vote. To me it sounds like money exchanged hands in order for this decision to be made! A neighbor of ours married a 'good, gentle Muslim man' and he began to beat her on a regular basis as soon as the marriage took place. These Muslims believe they have a right to make their wives passive and submissive. I say let's have strong legislators who are willing to stand up for America pass a law that no Islamics be allowed to immigrate into our country. To see what havoc they cause, check out the European countries which have been overrun with Muslims, whose motto is 'become Islamic or die'. Why on earth would we smile and encourage a Mosque ANYWHERE in America?!
Unfortunately it's the democrats who are spending our tax dollars like there's no tomorrow so in this instance it's appropriate. I'll be saying the same thing about the republicans if they get control and continue spending like we are now. I want the Fair Tax Act and so do many of our middle class and wealthy citizens. I think the biggest opposition will come from the nearly 50% of our citizens who don't pay any taxes at all in our present system. They know they've got a good thing going and don't want to see it change.
Rick, I'm going to go one step further and say if you are so superior to the rest of us and think we're all such idiots, why don't you find something better to do with your time than to come on this website and belittle everyone who disagrees with you. I know I'm not impressed by you or your self proclaimed vast knowledge and I doubt anyone else is either. Most of us are just here to have fun. To everyone else out there, don't be intimidated by this big hot air balloon. Your OPINIONS matter to me and I enjoy hearing what you all have to say.
This isn't your website Rick so stop trying to make the rules. We can give opinions without facts anytime we feel like it. If you don't like it, start your own website and stop trying to be the CEO of this one.
Well, fortunately enough opinions are not facts. They are just that, opinions. And once again they are wrong. It seems as though many of you base your ideas on what most call "gut feelings" or "opinions", and they are almost always wrong. How many times must I ask all of you to read? Never base your ideas on others so-called opinions or suggestions. Make yourself informed so that when you decide to offer up some sort of retort or argument that it is actually based on factual information and not just a feeling you have. Going on a "gut feeling" normally only leads to one thing. The spread of misinformation.
As for the Icelandic eruptions that have caused such an inconvenience to air travelers in Europe, really? I understand that now is probably not the time to be planning a European vacation, but really? The last time Eyjafjallajokull erupted was some time in between 1821 and 1823. Before that it had erupted along with its sister volcano Katla in 1621. That’s almost 200 years between each eruption! If anything the two volcanoes seem to be on a pretty set schedule. There’s nothing abnormal about the eruptions themselves or the fact that Katla may be soon to follow. Volcanoes like these have the regular tendency to remain quiescent for years on end. So it is no big surprise that with the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull that earthquake activity has been on the rise or that other volcanoes in the region have suddenly become more active.
The weather has been no different in cyclical temperament than the occurrences of volcanic activity or frequency of earthquakes. Your statement “They are predicting a grim hurricane season and it seems to me that we are having more tornadoes in the F-4, F-5 range than what would be considered normal.” is unequivocally incorrect. Although the hurricane season does seem to be gearing up for a big year in 2010, the fact is that tornadoes are often the result of totally different weather patterns. We haven’t had an F5 tornado in over 2 years, the last occurring in late May of 2008. In fact, in the last 5 years there have been only… …drum roll please… …2 F5 tornadoes that have occurred in the United States. Two! That’s it!! Previous to the year 2008 the United States had not experienced an F5 tornado since the year 1999!! So how exactly is it Mama Kaz that you “feel” we’ve had more than normal? The fact is that we haven’t. It has actually been on a decline since the mid-1990’s. So far this year (2010) we have only had 288 confirmed tornadoes, which basically puts the U.S. on track to have fewer tornadoes again than the last 5 previous years. Albeit storm cells can freakishly cause an outbreak of nearly 100 at a time it is highly unlikely that it will. The last two such “outbreaks” occurred in May of 2004, and before that in April of 1974. That’s over 30 years apart! In effect you have a much greater chance of being struck by lightning than you do from experiencing an F5 tornado!! As far as F4 tornadoes in the United States we have only had 22 occur since 2006. Every year has seen five or less occur with the only exception being in 2008.
If you guys wish to post an argument, please base it on something other than a “feeling”. Try basing it on facts!! It makes it so much more interesting! By the way, all of this information came directly from Wikipedia who themselves source N.O.A.A. as the contributor for their information. Just in case you don’t know what organization that is, they are the National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration. So they might know a thing or two about the weather as opposed to someone’s “feelings”.
