The bible hasn't changed. It has stood the test of time. People have changed. As a country and as a people we have moved away from the teachings of the bible. Christian faith and principles are being pushed out of everyday life while other religions are being allowed and even encouraged to spring up everywhere. It's no wonder so many children today are clueless as to who Jesus is and many don't even know what the bible is. It's no surprise to me that our country is in such a mess because they have been removing our foundation, one brick at a time, for years. We cannot survive without a solid foundation and whether you are a believer or not I think most people can recognize that faith is a good foundation for most. I have always wondered, what harm does it do to those who don't believe and why are they so bent on destroying it?
religion is full of holes(created by man) ... luckily faith in God is not. for those that have it no explanation is needed , for those that do not one is not possible
It really pains me to take this side. Being brought up a Christian, 8 years of private Christian school; I truly wish it wasn't the case.
While I'm far from what I would consider a devout Christian now I do share the same values of the religion and think it is a wonderful foundation for children.
I don't think it's too late for the bible to regain it's credibility but I don't think it's likely with the direction society has taken, the ACLU, and other organizations and groups that continue to demonize Christianity. Maybe it's time for Christianity to go on the offensive against those who'd like nothing more than to destroy it.
I don't think the bible is irrelevant and i still think its the best source for healing.I do agree that somewhere Christianity has taken a backseat and has been tarnished due to some so called "Ministers" who took it and turned it into a sideshow and the only way to get into Heaven is to "Pay" your way in not with the blood but the almighty dollar, just my thoughts on it.
I know people that do not have their kids vaccinated and I would like to say the risk of some of those terrible diseases out weighs the slim chance that it causes autism.. Think about the food we eat, the chemicals we injest, the air we breath etc::: I think not vaccinating is just plain foolish! Just my opinion.
after learning how to blow other explosives that need to be destroyed i dont think it would be all that easy. not to mention the fact that it was on the sea floor. i think its just freak accident.
