This is a hard one. I love them both but I am thinking that David Cook will win. Archuleta is better vocally but Cook has more personaltiy.

I must admit I don't know too much about ubuntu but I have to support whats running on my server.

Both companies tend to make some pretty low quality stuff but I definitely prefer HP to Dell. I have a nice HP laptop and it is better built than the Dell laptops I've seen, aside from the xps series.
