I think a little loyalty would be nice in sports. I'm not a Favre fan but I think that when someone has given to a team the way he did Green Bay they should do what they can to keep them until they retire. I loved Montana and hated what the 49ers did to him.

I've been a Bears fan my whole life. We hate Green Bay, but, we LOVE Brett Favre. He is what football is. His passion, his flare, his kid like qualities, his risk taking. I'd watch Brett Favre if he was playing for a senior citizens team. The NFL needs him. Football fans need him.

our beloved Joe Montana tried this. It did work for him and it is not going to work for Brett. He had a great season last year and he should have gone out with a distinguished bow!!

He should have left on a good note. He's pulling a Michael Jordan and will become less significant as each day passes. That is unless he actually has a strong season, but he may not even start.
