Legitimate Support of Gay Marriage
On Wednesday Barack Obama became the first sitting President to endorse gay marriage. Do you believe this is political ploy to pull in the gay vote or just by chance that after 3 years in office he’s finally supporting same sex couples.

Not the least bit naive here. I'm sure he's courting the gay voters of this country, just as presidents in the past have courted the african-american, hispanic, and religious voters in elections past.
What I also believe is that after time some people are able to take a different perspective on issues. I believe that this is also what President Obama has done.
I am no different. For years I did not agree with the death penalty, but after many discussions and a personal experience of my own I admit I have changed my stance. People change, and so do their opinions. Perhaps not as often as John Kerry or Mitt Romney, but people do change their minds.
