David Blane really sucked cheese with that terrible New York "Dive of Death"... if that was supposed to impress, I think he might be off his medication. Angel, indeed is a little nuts, but he's nabbed Hugh Heffner's ex-Playboy girlfriend, so he deserves a little kudos for that magic trick.
I felt my first Californian quake a couple of months back. It was awesome. Like riding a wave. Obviously it wasn't very strong, plus I've never been caught in a tornado (apart from a wimpy UK one - not much bigger than a dust devil), but I got a bigger buzz from the earthquake :-D
Although sad, Pluto is technically too small to "clear its own orbit". These new rules had to be drawn up to cater for the growing number of small rocky bodies being discovered (one bigger than Pluto!). Pluto will always be known with fondness and it hasn't been kicked out of the Solar System, it's simply caught in the middle of a reclassification of what constitutes a planet...
These kind of policies will not only breach privacy, it will breed a culture of distrust. This will make employees feel victimised and otherwise diligent employees will feel undervalued. A horrible way of running a business.
Driving all the way. You get to see so much more behind the wheel than squinting through the oval windows of a plane. Of course when gas is $4.50 a gallon I'm not sure where I stand but under three and I'll take the road.
I have flown on a plane several times and enjoy it but I Love driving. To me there is nothing better than packing up the car and going on vacation. I can be more comfortable in the car, can stop when I want, and can look out the window and see more than clouds. It's exciting.
