Hmm...as my maternity leave comes to an end I am in the middle on this one. I feel like my baby needs me and it will be the hardest thing in the world to go back to work.
I have to admit I thought I would hate American Idol this year. I said I was not going to watch it but I have been. I personally don't think there is anyone on there that is "Great". I don't have any specific person that I am going for. I don't like the new rules. I think the show will continue to go downhill from here.
As a FORMER union member I for one am growing VERY sick of over-expecting and in many instances over-paid union members griping about any possible cuts, benefits expense increases, or anything else that negatively affects them. Unions are not immune from down turns in the economy, especially those funded by tax payers.
I love public servants who realize they actually server the public. One of the few entities as corrupt as the US government is union leadership (not members, some of which are hard working Americans which I respect.). Wake up and move beyond the political propaganda union's send out to their members.
Now it's quite possible that my opinion will change but the bottom line is that they risk losing a lot of talent that just made a poor song choice or had an off night by doing this. Losing 14 or 13 contestants in a single show might prove to push viewership down even further as many peoples favorites will be booted tonight on the show.
This lifestyle disgusts me! I really don't understand why anyone would want to live like this. It's funny too that I have not heard of a polygamy where there is one wife and several husbands. I feel sorry for the children.
I think in an ideal situation moms could stay at home with their children but in our world today it almost takes both mom and dad to provide. I will soon go back to work and when I find myself feeling bad as a new mom I have to remember that I am providing for my baby and giving her a nice house and nice things while still being able to give all of my love every minute I am home.
I think it's a wonderful thing that stores provide these motorized carts but what I don't find so wonderful is when 400 pound lard asses defy science and scoot around the store in them. When it's elderly or injured people riding in them it serves a wonderful purpose; when it's a quarter ton of jiggly flesh it's disgusting.
I would like to take a moment and applaud the manufacturers of these motor carts. Some cars can barely support four hundred pounds yet your carts do that and more; Bravo!
Although I kind of hate to support this side I do believe there are people out there that actually need these. However the only people I ever see using them are extremely over weight lazy people. Maybe if they got up and walked they wouldn't be so big! People with disabilities should be the only ones using them.
