Uninformed Voter Should Not Vote!

Vote Anyway, It’s Important.

At the voting precinct we witnessed a young man (Probably 19) asking the election workers why he couldn’t vote bipartisan and asked if multiple candidates were liberal or republicans. Obviously not informed. Should he have stayed home?

If you don't have sense enough to be informed of the candidates and their views before you step into a voting booth, then please, do us all the favor of staying home and setting your DVR to record more Jerseylicious and WWE.

I want to applaud people who vote, especially young voters who have never been old enough to vote before. But you must go in with an idea of what candidates stand for. Strictly voting always for one party requires no thinking or beliefs of your own and is lazy. Being a young voter who is interested in voting still should require that you know what is going on and where candidates stand on the economy, healthcare, social issues, foreign policies and more. I vote some for Democrats and I vote for some Republicans because I think for myself.

Part of me really wants to applaud anyone for going out of their way to vote but then reality sets in and I realize he has no flipping clue who or what he is voting for. I too want everyone to vote so long as you take the time to educate yourself on the candidates and make the most informed decision you can.

Please, I don't care if you're voting for the candidates I want to get elected, if you are so clueless that you ask the election staff for political advice then Stay Your Ass At Home!
