I just have a hard time believing anybody innocent in this case. To some degree, the State didn't show anything but circumstantial evidence however, what mother would not report a toddler missing? Caylee wasn't reported missing for over 30 days! What mother would lie to Law Enforcement Officers about their Child's disappearance? Yet, Casey was found guilty on 4 counts of just that, providing false information to Law Enforcement Officers. Now, let me ask you this question! If your toddler went missing, how long would you wait to report it? State thought they had a good case and I thought there was enough to convict on something other then those 4 measly counts of false information. Waiting for such a long time to report a toddler missing, especially in this day and age is a crime in itself. Casey had admitted she wants to have another child and I hope that CPS steps in and takes it. Casey is more interested in the party life then anything else and this just proves it.

It was quite obvious that she was guilty.

BUT you still missed the point. The jury could not subvert the rules and make a verdict out of nothing. The JURY followed the rules to a tee. There was no verdict to be had. It is not a flawed judicial system. The prosecution over reached...they tried for a verdict they didn't have the evidence for. You can't convict someone when there is NO evidence for the crime the prosecution say was committed. Does ANYONE know what REALLY happened? NO! I am not saying she is innocent. I am saying no one knows what really happened. Just because the entire world "thinks" she is guilty does not mean she is. I refuse to ever buy into gang mentality.

Trust me the point was not missed; I simply don't agree. What you are saying is the jurors can live on with a clear conscience and that's great for them. However Justice was not served for Caylee Anthony.

The crime was murder. If her mother didn't do it then justice will not be served until the person who did is punished. However, if her mother did do it justice will never be served due to double jeopardy laws. It's not a misunderstanding, it's a difference of opinions.

Which by the way, ,means I had to vote neutral, because whoever wrote this one only saw black and white in this case.

While I certainly see where you're going with your comments I can't agree.

I see it as Justice being diverted by the incompetence of others. If what you say is true, then the others I refer to is the prosecution team.

I have a hard time getting around someone thinking an incompetent prosecution team resulting in what is likely a horrific ruling being classified as justice served for the murder of a little girl.

I've heard it said before that we have a flawed judicial system but that it's the best in the world. However, it failed miserably this time around and Justice was not served. A murderer was rewarded for having a strong defense team going against a weak prosecution that had little physical evidence.

BTW, glad to see the Neutral side came in handy. It's been needed for quite some time.

You totally missed the point! Justice prevailed , but that does NOT mean she was innocent. The prosecution did not present their case...they did not connect the dots...1+1 did not =2 . So justice DID prevail in that the justice system in this country worked as intended. If their is no evidence of the crime submitted by the state, then the accused goes free. The prosecutor mis-charged...he over reached. Again, it does not mean she is innocent, it just mean she walks, and it is the State's fault, NOT the jury. They correctly looked at the states case, and the evidence submitted and correctly could not make a murder 1 charge. Quit blaming the jury, they were sick about it, but they were HONEST , which in today's world is a rarity.

This disgusts me and many other people. What was the jury thinking? Poor little Caylee.

Ryan i have watched this trial quite a bit, but i at least thought the jury would find her guilty of aggravated child abuse. And when they came back with not guilty on 3 charges it broke my heart.

Where is the father of Caylee? I haven't heard anything about him at all.

If this were my daughter, someone would be dying whether through the justice system or through brass and lead.

I'll be honest, I thought it was going to be between life in prison and the death penalty and thought you had it wrong when Crystal told me you had called her. This is truly unbelievable.

Even more repulsive than the preachers wife getting off with only a few months behind bars here in TN.

While I'll be the first to admit I have actually grown very tired of the 24/7 coverage of this trial I am however very disgusted that this poor little girl has been murdered with no justice being served.

Very upsetting.
