I’ll Take the Standard $10 Tickets
IMAX Tickets are Worth the Cost
We’re not talking about four dollar matinee tickets anymore; ten dollar standard tickets, $16.50 for IMAX tickets, $8 for popcorn, and $7 for a coke. Do the math; is IMAX worth $6.50 more per ticket? Is is even worth going anymore?

i love imax movies. and i totally dont mind spending the extra money to go there. there is a movie theater in la thats like 30 bucks a seat and they have servers come to your seat and bring you booze. i have yet to go but bet your ass my butt will be taking one of those seats. but then again i like to spend money on stupid stuff.

We will pay extra to see a movie in IMAX if its worth it. Other than that I will pay the $10 to see a movie which in my opinion is still a lot of money. Once you add drinks and popcorn you are paying around $40 just to go to the movies.

we already pay enough for the regular tickets. We paid $29 for 3 adult and 1 child for matinee on Monday.

I'll just wait till it comes out on video and watch it on my tv. I can make my popcorn at home for free and I can get my candy and soda at the store. My husband brought home 6 loser movies in a row so I am really yearning to watch a GOOD movie.....

Unless we're talking a seriously amazing 3d movie like Avatar or an epic movie like the Dark Knight I'm sorry but IMAX is not worth the extra fourteen bucks per couple.
