I have a son on his way to Afghanistan next year. i want the troops to be free to defend themselves. but what we really need is a new congress to stop trying to screw the economy and do the right thing.

I'm a supporter of the war. I think the troops are going a fantastic job. Bringing them home would be a mistake and would undo all of the progress we have made. My high school US government and sociology teacher got back from Iraq not too long ago. I've heard stories of what they've done and what they've accomplished. Don't listen to the media. They like causing drama, because the more there is, the more they have to report about.

I agree with both sides here however if you think about it. We lose far more men and woman here in the states to meaningless crime and accidents every day..We did before the war and we will continue to far after..

I want the Economy to improve badly but I get tired of hearing of our men dying in Iraq. I wish they could come home to their families. If that was my husband I would desperately want him home.

I strongly stand by our troops and desperately wish they could come home immediately but if we don't fix our economy the troops won't have much to come home to. Not too mention the funding for the military will be cut if the economy continues on its detrimental path.
