Far Too Risky and Dangerous for Me

Rivalry Side B | Business | Companies

Secondhand purchasers are faced with a couple of options; ebay, craigslist, or garage sales. Of course Ebay has sky high fees but is very secure but is Craigslists affordability worth the increased risk or is it safe enough for you?

I have heard some horror stories but I think if I go to meet someone I would take my pink lady, another person, and maybe my dog Sawyer because he thinks he's a pit bull. I would also make sure to meet in a very public place because if someone's going to kill me I want lots of witnesses!

While the increased risks are a bit alarming the key word is Commonsense. Meet at public locations, during day time hours, and let many people know you are meeting for a Craigslist exchange. If possible bring someone with you. And so on.

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable but if I had my husband with me I would feel much safer. I tend to stay away from these sites plus you never really know what you are buying and if the person is who they say they really are. If you do decide to purchase something from Craigslist, these are good rules to go by.
