AT%T can't keep up with Verizon. Now they are cheating to make themselves look better. When 4G service first began to come out, AT%T was not prepared to compete with Verizon in the new market. Instead they performed a minor service upgrade on their existing 3G service and billed it as 4G. Meanwhile Verizon successfully rolled out 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution)... the true 4G. If you watch AT$T commercials you will notice that they are now advertising 4G LTE instead of 4G. Nice marketing strategy to make it look like they were keeping up, but I swear, they must have hired a politician to come up with that kind of bull.
I am an att customer so i may be a little bias. I dont often lose service and i love the roll over minutes. But for crying out loud, lower the cost of texting. Verizon got att on that end of the stick.
I actually have Att service and have always been disappointed with the reception and dropped calls. On a recent trip to Kansas for my grandfathers burial I had no signal 80% of the time. Talk about feeling like your cut off from the world.
