I'm currently in the midst of building my first quad core rig that features an AMD A10 APU and I'm looking forward to see if the five star reviews coincide with the performance of the processor. Being honest, I'm sure a CPU GPU discrete component setup would outperform the APU for high frame rate gaming but when comparing the cost and the fact that I don't play many games on my pc I'm sticking with the APU.
