i'm not gonna blame the government rather the idiocy of the general public.. after someone gets the sniffle whats the first thing they do? run to the drug store and chug bottles of cough syrup or acetaminophen.. didn't anybody expect the flu virus to eventually grow resistant to drugs? as ALL drugs are characterized to do??? the result is always a stronger virus and morons will go out and get stronger drugs..
I would like to retract some of my original statement:
I DO NOT think the Mexican Gov. had anything to do with it. I do still think it is a recipe rather than a mutation. And I wouldn't trust the Baxter CO. to make vaccine for doodily. This is another SCARE TACTIC. That's the way our Government controls us. Get the facts, confront the f***,get them out of office !
I know that this virus is not behaving like any virus we've seen before. I never get upset about the flu and don't get flu shots but this one has me more than a little concerned. It's strange in every aspect according to what I've read and heard. However, I am much more afraid of the potential antidote so I definitely won't be taking that.
Everyone you need to read the following article. Supposedly Baxter is the company who is working on a vaccine for the current swine flu. Scary as hell.

Hollywood celebrities do it every day. Why can't we?
I think it's perfectly acceptable to express opinions on topics you aren't completely educated in so long as you aren't so narrow minded that you aren't willing to learn from others. Of course, it's always a good idea to do a little research before you express your opinion but not everyone takes the time to do that.
@Ripi-Haha, you think the Mexican gov did this? Lol they couldn't even test to see if the infected people had a new strain of virus. They sent samples to the US and Canada.
It's natural. We could blame bird flu, SARS and other epidemics on weaponized biology, but there are more mundane explanations for these outbreaks. Overpopulation, close proximity to animals, bad hygiene, poor regulation and population mobility are known issues - all you need is one mutated gene to take hold and these viruses can hop from one species to the next, and humans are the perfect vehicles. A "new" mutated virus will kill so readily as our physiology has no experience of the mutated virus and does not have time to build natural immunity. This is what causes pandemics.
There could be a conspiracy in that this outbreak has been covered up for longer than we think, but I doubt the Mexican government (or any other government for that matter) knowingly released this strain into the general populous, far simpler explanations exist.
From what I've heard on the "News" just recently...This swine flu has strains from several different SPECIES in it. Which doesn't sound like mutation but more like recipe. I think the Mexican Gov had something to do with it.
