I am frustrated. I know that the last 4 years have put us in great deficit. I was strongly against bail out. the dems and pubs were both a part of this. Remember, however, the dems started the liberal strategy for balloon arm loans for all. this with the greed of the investors in big business put the knife in the heart of the us economy.

So, what do we do to solve this economy? Here we go, lets raise taxes on the business class, lets implement a socialized healthcare program, let us spend anothe 850 billion on top of bailout, let us stop drilling offshore and in country exploration, let us go against nuclear power plants,( i was on a nuclear carrier for 4 years, we never had a problem), let us give free education to all,( every one has the right to free college, what a plan folks!!!! welcome to socialism and the end of the strongest nation on earth. china is shifting toward capitalism as we drift toward marxism. brilliant, pure and utter brilliance!!

I forgot to mention that McCain won the debate on solid facts and ideas, especially in regards to healthcare and I liked his economic answers better. I thought Obama won on smooth talk and dodging questions and surprisingly to me, on national security. How did that happen????

I'm voting for McCain/Palin because I want change in Congress, the Senate, the House and pretty much everywhere in Washington. There will be no change with Obama because he is one of the biggest wasteful spenders there. McCain has at least some record of fighting spending and Sarah Palin's entire career has been spent fighting corruption. Our country is in bad shape right now because of all the bad loans and the corruption. When did it become everyone's God given right to own a home? Acorn needs to be disbanded and only people who can afford houses should be given loans. That's good business, not discrimination.

Both men made their points very well, and although I have reservations about Obama, McCain sounds too much like George Bush to me. I'll have to vote for Obama.

Hello to all. I am frustrated like the rest of Americans over the last 8 years and the economy. We have to be careful to not let haste tempt us into an emotional decision. I do not agree with McCain on all of his policies but I am much more concerned for the economic woes of this country. We need to learn from history. We also need to learn from the michigan and new york. The taxes there are mutilating the economic infrastructure. Michigan is losing jobs like the Exodus in the bible days. America! look at Ireland and their economic success. They have the lowest corporate tax in the world. It works!!! Forget emotion, worry about you and I and our job security. Realize also that socialized medicince will be so costly that it will destroy our military might. Our country was built on self responsibility and the opportunity to better ourselves. Finally, look at the education systems that throw money at the problem, i.e. new york, it does not work! proof is in the pudding. I live in east tn and we have some of the lowest property taxes. Guess what, our school has fund raisers and takes into account self accountability. so far, my son has been given an excellent education.!!!:)

McCain's temper and body language were too much for me. He could barely keep his cool in a televised debate. Obviously, he doesn't care to try for better foreign relations. Obama came across as an even headed gentleman that would use common sense instead of his emotions in argument. Go Obama!

Even though I think both candidates fluff everything up way too much & sit on the fence about a lot of thing - Obama was an eloquent speaker at the debate. Props to him.

Obama is definitely a better speaker than McCain and they both fluff way too much, you are right.

If I am being honest I'd say that Obama won the first half of the debate but McCains experience shined through in the second half. I have to side with the republican but this was close to a draw.

McCain is a hawk in foreign policy but Obama kept a good temperament and did not budge to McCain's bullying. His answers were correct and gave testament to the fact that he planned to do things differently then they had been done the last 8 years
