All of our Presidents (and other 'representatives') do things that are right and do things that are wrong. Is there any one person who never makes a bad decision? In voting I would have voted for Carter and Reagan (I was too young at the time). I did vote for George H. and Clinton and Obama. I did NOT vote for George W. either time. So, as you can see, I vote for Republicans and Democrats. I am not a party line man. I vote for who I think will do the better job. And none of this is brought on by what my family's political party choice is. At age 40, I have never known who my parents have voted for, nor do I know who my siblings vote for. I make my decisions for me and what I think is best for this country.

I can clrearly state that out of all of the Presidents we've had, George W. is the biggest disappointment!

You know, for 20 years I was in the Air Force and was not allowed to talk bad about our president. Now that I can say what I want, I'm not going to sit here and rake Obama over the coals considering the position he was in when he took office. However, I will say that we are forgetting that we are talking about politicians and they are human beings. Human beings are not perfect and will lie to get what they want. It is just that simple. One thing I find interesting is how Obama is blamed and then someone jumped back to Clinton as if 8 years of Bush didn't happen. I promise you with every ounce of street/common sense that I have that Bush was one of the biggest liars in the history of this country and probably the worst president we have had. It is beyond my comprehension how more things during his administration aren't talked about. First, it was shady how he ended up in the white house and totally amazing that he was re-elected. For me, it isn't about race or party lines - I don't feel the same way about Reagan or the first Bush - it is just about calling an idiot an idiot.

So if I understand this, all humans lie to get what they want and you're persecuting Bush for lying? And even more, you persecuting Bush but aren't questioning Obama on his lies.

I'm not arguing that Bush lied but I'm not justifying his lies and persecuting another for lying.

I've read all of the comments. Big Ben interested me the most. I will research what you've disclosed before I make a comment on what you said. Right now, President Obama has not been in office long enough for me to make an informed comment. I do, however, think the "doom and gloom" scenario that is predicted by quite a few commenters is a "little bit of a stretch." Granted, he is spending quite a bit, I would like to at least give him a year to see how things pan out.

I respect your honest response and normally would completely agree with giving a new president a full year but the reality is, we may not have that long. He's not just spending, he's destroying our currency, putting our international credit rating at risk, and he's dead set on more spending. The question we all need to ask is, if he succeeds at destroying our currency what will this mean for us?

I hope that Obama does not single handedly destroy the US. I dont think that is possible but he is sure not our savior. I guess i kinda ride the line here and it's not pretty!! I am so excited though about my sweet tax cut that gives me $19 extra on my paychecks. Especially the fact that i get to pay it back at the end of the year. :-)

Do you mean the money should go to all the people or just those who choose to stay home and let the government support them with the tax dollars they take from those of us who work? My husband and I had to cough up more tax money on top of what is already taken out of our income again this year and we make less than $50,000 a year.

Money should go to the people, and not to a selected few corporations like it was during the Bush era.

Something different does not necessarily mean something better. I agree that we all need to do everything we can to get out of debt. However, I think that is going to be difficult with the heavy taxation that is coming to ALL of us. Much of it will be hidden but some of it's already out there. I don't even smoke and I think the new tax on cigarettes is ridiculous. Now they are trying to put a tax on soda in the name of obesity. I'm not obese so why should I have to pay extra for soda? I also heard that we can soon expect to have an extra $3,100.00 a year added to our power bills in energy tax. This is just the beginning. The only people who should be happy with the direction our country is going are those who love big government. REALLY big government. I'm always surprised to hear about the "hell" we were all going through for the past 8 years because my husband and I were actually doing just fine. The past few months have been a different story. My husbands hours have been cut, grocery prices have gone up, our power bill is twice what it was, and our homes value has plummeted. I think it's time to stop blaming Bush and start blaming our present administration since it is their actions that are creating these problems. If you think only the rich are going to be paying higher taxes, you are sadly mistaken. It's time to wake up and smell the coffee, if you can still find a Starbucks in business...

Personally, I believe that there will be a short term gain (2-3 years max) before inflation skyrockets out of control and the dollar as we know it, will no longer exist. This will set the stage for a global currency.

Unfortunately, when you create a global currency, you bring all countries to the same standard of living. This will bring third world countries way up in their standard of living and bring countries like the US way down in their standard of living.

It's not going to be easy. I recommend everyone get out of debt as quickly as possible.

I think Obama, I mean President Obama, is going to lead us towards success because he is trying. If Clinton is to blame, what was GW doing to help that didn't benefit him or his family? Forget money for a second and think about the lies he told. He lied about WMDs and thousands of Americans have been put in harm's way and even died for it. Meanwhile, I will bet money his family, and Rice, are richer than before.

Obama probably is making mistakes, but at least he is making new mistakes and prompting change. I would encourage those who disagree with his spending to write their (Republican no doubt) congressmen and for a change to President Obama's change. In the end we would all win because it will be something different than the Hell we went through for 8 years.

I wanted to add one more point. I care much about our armed services. I am a veteran and support the troops 100%. I am also positive that most of our heroes will not turn on the civilians if asked, and I am also hopeful that many of the fine men and woman are waking up to the reality of what is going on. Finally, Bloomberg released an article today that stated that the actual unumployment rate on the national level is 15.6 %. This is higher than the government numbers largely due to the fact that there are thousands of people unemployed that ran out of benefits.

I need to make one correction in regards to the internet regulation. It was Senator Jay Rockefeller who began this legislation. I believe he is related to the other Rockefellers. The Oil Rockefellers are a big part of the Global Elite so it would not surprise me if they were related, especially in the sense of this legislation.

I will begin with a little background. I used to be a proud and determined republican. I supported Bush through the war due to the intelligence and promises that I recieved. The last presidential term of Bush opened my eyes to curiosity. I slowly saw a president give up our rights and spend us into more debt. During the Obama campaign I than begin to realize that the media worshiped him like he was above man. I began to get a sick feeling along with much anxiety that something was just not right. By the grace of God, I am realizing the truth. I am not happy about what I am learning, but I realized that are presidents are not in control. They are simply puppets. This is not about right or left, this is about a global government ran by banking elitest. This activity, if not stopped, will cost our precious freedom and millions of lifes. For Henry Kissinger is one of the elite and also has served the US government. He has been quoted that if we are to remain sustainable on earth, 85% of the population must be terminated. This is not a joke. I am about to relay some important information. If you want to judge me without even verifying the information than so be it. You are not worth my time. I am just trying to relay to as many people that we are under attack. This is not a joke. I dont care if you are black, white, purple, democrat, or even an athiest. We must pull together.

I am just a firm believer in our constitution. The first important point is the debate between the Fed Chairman and Senator Sanders that was on CSPAN. When asked by Senator Sanders where the bailout money was spent, the fed chairman states that he does not have to tell anyone which banks that the 2.2 trillion dollars is going to. His reasoning for this is because it may hurt the relationship with the international banks. This debate clearly shows that the Federal Reserve is being very secretive. I will also add that the Federal Reserve is private,is above the law, and is backed by our tax dollars. This link should clarify all of the information above(this was about 2 months ago, since than there has been many more trillion dollars spent as you will see below):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WBcCMJSeSI Here is a link that will give the break down of the Federal Reserve Financial Pledges at Bloombeg: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=armOzfkwtCA4&refer=home

If you look at the bottom you will see HUD which is for housing rescue, student loan help, first Bush Stimulus, and Obama stimulus. These are allocations for we the people. The problem is that they only add up to about 1.3 trillion out of the 12.8 trillion, and I may be being generous with this estimate. All of the other money is going to big bank bailouts and toxic securities (toxic investments in derivatives)The secrecy comes in with these investments are not being broke down specifically with line items.

Secrecy, is never a good sign, especially when me and you will have to pay back the tax dollars. I will also add that the Federal Reserve has recently purchased 300 billion dollars in treasury notes from the US Treasury. This number may have been increased to 600 billion by now. I have not had a chance to verify that yet. The reason they did this is because that was the only way that they could carry this year's deficit. This number will go up as the year goes on. As I have learned in my economics class, whenever a country has to purchase its own debt, it will lead to hyper inflation. This may take a year to two years, but it could be devastating. From several economists that I have heard interviewed this could be anywhere from 25 to 35 % in 2 years.

In my opinion, the Federal Reserve should have the private power stripped from them. President Kennedy signed a bill (11110) right before he was assassinated that would have pulled such power from the Federal Reserve. I am not sure why the law has not been enforced since then.

I have been going to alternative news sources such as the London Telegraph, Toronto Sun, Reuters, infowars, bloomberg, new york times etc because I don't feel that the mainstream is being upfront with us Americans on the extent of the spending. This is the same scenario with the "Obama is God" mentality.

On top of the federal reserve spending, Obama just pledged 1.25 trillion for the IMF which is the International Monetary Fund. There will be 19 other countries that are a part of this, but I will estimate about 750 billion to be pledged by Obama. http://www.infowars.com/g-20-to-give-1-trillion-to-imf-world-bank/ This is money going to the international organization. There are many foreign newspapers also writing about the announcement of a new world government. This is a little more than scary to me. It makes you think about how this will affect international business and our sovereignty.

If you Google "Global Governance" you will find many articles, mainly non-US ( I wonder why?) that explain that the G20 summit leaders all agreed to give much more power to the World Bank and IMF to manage all finances of the world. They also gave much more power to the World Trade Organization. They will be able to make trade regulations for the world and if any country does not follow, the WTO may enforce discipline with sanctions. This is not a joke. We are losing our sovereignty.

You need to also read the latest print of Time magazine which states that America has to pay for the many years of dominance and suv life style. In another words, as the world organizations have stated, the US will no longer be a leader in trade making her own rules. We will soon be following the WTO new policies. Please research this to verify. The London telegraph and Reuters are a couple that will cover this.

I will now cover Senator Sanders and his bills that will give total control of the internet to the president and the government. THIS IS NOT A JOKE> They are in the works. The bills are 773 and 778.

The link for this information is http://www.infowars.com/cybersecurity-bill-gives-obama-dictatorial-power-over-internet The federal government is also working on passing legislation hr 875. This is not a joke. This is about putting out of business the small town farmer and banning private gardens. This is an attack on the food supply. The link will direct you to the exact portion of the bill where the critical information is. This is not a joke. http://snardfarker.ning.com/profiles/blogs/hr-875hr-875-the-food-police The Federal government is also working on legislation that will mandate government service of young Americans and possibly all age groups. I believe this bill has passed, but I have not verified that. They are passing these bills very fast. The link for the bill is : http://www.infowars.com/mandatory-service-bill-lives-on/ The bill is 1444, subsection 7b6. This subsection was originally in bill HR 1388. This is how they are sneaky. If they get resistance, they have another senator reinstate the same amendment into another bill.

I wish this was all of it. The list goes on. The following is the link for the army files that clarified the civilian prison camps.(FEMA) Please verify. This is not a joke. Google Army Regulation 210–35. This was created during the Bush administration after the patriot act. Be warned also that Obama has reauthorized this legislation. He promised in his campaign that he would get rid of this. I am not trying to attack Obama. I don't give a !$#& about him or Bush. They are puppets and we are under attack. I need your help. We must fight this tryany.

The last important issue is the infiltration of the us intelligence and military into our police departments across the US. I recently helped put a stop to the national guard getting involved with a shooting in Alabama. I wrote the senator and stated that there was no need for the military to get involved with a one man murder suicide. They are trying to use psych ops on the public. Next time you go to the movies, watch the Kid Rock Warrior song. They show several Martial Law scenes. This is Psych warfare for your mind and spirit. Again, this is not a joke. Remember, the constitution does not want military involved with citizens.

The globalists have already stolen 13.6 trillion and counting from us. This is the same as the GDP for one year in a healthy US economy. Please take the time to read this and learn.

Thank You

fellow Americans.

A good documentary to start with is "The End Game"

I tend to be somewhat optimistic about the future of American society. GW's spending was out of control. Obama's spending is far more out of control. Justifying Obama's spending by pointing out GW's is just utterly illogical.

One generation is financing it's standard of living on the backs of another. This is truly unprecedented. I won't argue that Obama's policies will destroy us, but they will necessitate incredible inflation, an astounding and unsustainable level of debt, and ultimately a cut in the government services Obama hopes to expand. Obama I'm afraid is just another "arrogant" American ignorantly swiping the credit card hoping tomorrows problems will go away.

I think Obama is the best solution for the US. He's only been in power a few months, it's going to take some time to see if his policies are working. Arguments against Obama's policies are a little premature. I'll see you here, same time, same place to debate it then.

Obama is having to deal with the mess that GW started. And it may take a lot of spending to get it straightened out. After GW started the war he told us to go "shopping",the idiot. American's live to shop, because we are greedy, lazy, arrogant, and want what we want when we want it. Where has God been with His infinite wisdom ? A few lightning bolts would be nice !

Should probably add ignorant to that list. I'm trying to figure this out. GW told Americans to go "shopping" so he is to blame for the majority of Americans charging up credit cards? Did he force them to swipe the cards? GW made some horrible choices but this crisis we're in can easily be traced back to Mr. Clinton, Mr. Dodd, Elmer Fudd (I mean Barney Frank), and modifications made to the Community Reinvestment Act.

This isn't to say we all haven't played a role in it but it but it was key individuals in government that made the crisis possible to begin with.

Obama was sitting at the white house table right next to Bush pushing through the first spending frenzy. His hands are just as dirty as the rest. I will agree that many Americans are guilty because they bought into the idea of spending themselves crazy and depending on the government to watch over them and bail them out like some kind of evil nanny. My husband and I have been responsible and always bought less house than we could afford instead of more. If we can't afford it we don't buy it and yet we are being punished with higher costs and taxes on everything. As usual we are going to have to bail out irresponsible people. Obama and his cronies are leading us down a path of irreversible destruction. They are creating a socialist way of life and it's happening at an alarming pace. I agree with you that we have to have faith bu our country has been turning its back on God for a long time now I'm not sure that he is going to continue to bless us as he has in the past. Even God has his limits which is clearly illustrated in the bible. Deuteronomy 28-30 illustrates that God requires certain things from us if we are to expect his blessings upon us. God doesn't always bail us out the way the government does because in his wisdom he knows that bad behavior shouldn't be rewarded because it leads to destruction. My grandma always said, "God doesn't run to catch nobody." Grandma was right...

The rivalry isn't blaming him for our crisis it's questioning whether or not he's forcing the dagger further into the heart of our country with his horrendous spending and policies.

I really wonder just how many people have stopped and thought about just how much a trillion dollars is. http://tinyurl.com/c3gf8s

If there's one thing that's been proven in the last couple of months it's that Obama has no problem breaking campaign promises. Excuse me if I don't put much weight to his hope and faith, sincerity, and motives.

I'm still in awe that not one member of government actually read the 1100 pages of the bailout before voting on it. We are spending money our kids and grandchildren will have to repay, assuming we make it that far.
