"FOOD FOR THOUGHT" if animals have souls and go to heaven. do you reckon fleas, lice,ants,termites and bedbugs go too, if so, then the termites may have eaten my mansion and the bedbugs have moved in.

There's a big difference between insects and spiders with heads, abdomen, and or thorax, and the complex makeup of canines with livers, stomachs, hearts, tendons, blood cells, joints, complex brains, etc... Study an ant or spider and tell me what actions or behavior make any given ant or spider different from the rest. Now do the same for a dog; while certain characteristics are common among breeds, you will not find a dog that behaves in the exact same manor. Each and every dog is unique and has different character traits, behavior, and emotions. Please let me know when you see a flea cry, beg, or plea for attention; when you do that would be a fair comparison.

I believe this yes Dogs have souls and I think like a new born baby its sin free dogs dont know how to sin and GOD made all things so I believe animals go to heaven as well.

You have a point from man’s opinion, GOD knows the unborn, YES even the unborn have souls and babies, and little children. If we use the same gauge for humans as well; infants and toddlers can't accept Jesus as their savior because they can't communicate or comprehend what that means; yet they undoubtedly have souls. Side A Comment

Actually the only way to heaven is to believe that God loved all of us enough to let his only son die for us to cover our sins. No good works or anything else gets you there. You open the door and he jumps right in! It's that easy! Of course spreading Gods' word and doing good for others is a great thing to do. This messed up world needs a lot of that! And I still say animals will be there. Matthew 6:26 states how God cares enough for the birds to see that they have food. There are more but that's the only one I can remember off the top of my tired but happy head right now. I think God cares about every living thing in the amazing world we live in. I also think animals will be in heaven just like they were in the ark. I just hope Sammy (my cat) isn't mad at me for accidentally running over him....

The way I see it, you have to have a soul to love...and nobody can convince me that dog's don't love. Their love is more pure than a lot of humans.

How can anyone argue that dogs don't have souls. Of course, I've always been taught that in order to go to Heaven, you must spread God's word and do his work. Not sure i ever heard a dog give a sermon. :)

I believe without a doubt that dogs have souls. They are so close to human. If you have ever met my sweet babies then you know they have to have souls. God wouldn't make something so precious to not have a soul. I believe our little Rachael is entertaining everyone in Heaven right now as we speak.

I absolutely believe dogs have souls. The bible speaks of Gods concern for the birds and also of how Noah was commanded to put two of each animal on the ark. I've always thought that animals bodies are so similar to ours in the way they function because they are important in the world He created. I also think he created dogs for the special task of being loyal and faithful companions for us. I have always found dogs to be the most faithful friend you could have.
