Evolution - Science. Apes to Humans

Rivalry Side B | Other | Religion

Did the human race form from the creation of God; Adam and Eve in the Garden of Edien or did we make our way to existence by the evolution of a single cell organism to apes and eventually to humans? Creationism or Evolution?

religion is full of holes(created by man) ... luckily faith in God is not. for those that have it no explanation is needed , for those that do not one is not possible

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 1:15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
Joh 1:16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.
Joh 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Marv, that is actually a very good question. Why haven't all of the apes evolved?

Mama kaz has the right spirit at least - just enjoy being here however you got here. It really doesn't matter.

...and that's about as conservative as I get.

My children look nothing like apes. they look like their father and I. The way God intended. As i hold a little life inside of me right now knowing that it was put there in love, part of Gods plan for our lives. For me, there is NOTHING else to believe.

God and science will all blend in together soon. The spirit of God is what should be more important and not the idea that I was created from dirt.

Faith is a hard thing to explain to those who don't possess it. I don't believe I descended from an ape but I can understand how some people have a hard time buying into creationism so I don't judge anyone for it. I don't really care how I got here because I'm just so happy to be here to enjoy it.

It is a natural human instinct to believe there is a "greater being" who put us on this planet. However, science is proving that evolution is a continuing process (this isn't a theory of something that has "already happened" - it is going on right now). Natural selection, or survival of the fittest, can be observed in everything from humans to bacteria. Evolution is as natural as the Earth orbits the Sun via gravitational interactions. Evolution is a science.

Creationism is a belief. It cannot be compared fairly against evolution. There is no "evolution/creationism" debate, to think otherwise is a huge step backward into the Dark Ages.

Science has proved that man has evolved through a process of natural selection. Carbon dating, etc. In the womb we had tails and webbed hands and feet; we derived from aquatic animals. But..........as Ryan said, when you enjoy the beauty of our world, we must consider a divine plan was in place before time began. That doesn't rival evolution.

Religion is full of holes but I can't sit on my porch staring at the beautiful mountains and not think that something greater than all of us brought this world to reality. Idiocity? Tell your cousin the ape I said hello.
