I pay $9 for my hair cut and im happy with that. what on earth do they do to your hair for $800. that $#!! better last a long ass time since i get my hair cut once a week.
ok now i pay like $36 for a haircut and could not imagine paying more. why on earth would anyone pay $800 to have their hair cut off when they could spend that on a new handbag to carry around and look at and love, forever. =)
This may not be a fair argument on my side due to the fact that I am balder than a polished cue ball, but if I was blessed with a full head of hair I would love to go to a 15 dollar gig. I have tried to go get a knife bald treatment, but I discovered that they outlawed this years ago after HIV. lol
I would never spend this much on a haircut but when I get my hair done I spend $100 and get it done often. It is something that I love and I work very hard for so I feel that I deserve it. I can see why women spend so much on there hair (celebrities, etc.) If I had that kind of money I would be at the salon on a weekly basis (for more than just my hair of course) Sometimes you get better quality when you spend more but not always.
I also meant to add that most places not only cut your hair but they color, style, and wash it also. It is well worth every penny to get pampered for two hours.
I voted for $800 hair cut simply because if I get a weave, I want it to look as natural as possible (like Beyonce, Janet Jackson, etc.) and they pay over $1,000 for their hair! And it looks very good! Well, Beyonce's is starting to look a little rought at the roots, but she just needs a touch up.
I purchased a "Flowbee" haircutting device, which you attach to your vaccum, many years ago. it cost $80 but it has paid for itself many times over during the last 15 years. That's how long it's been since i set foot in a beauty shop.
I was going to an expensive salon for my cuts and color but decided I couldn't justify spending that much. I found a little place out here in the sticks that is half the price but the cut is just as good and I honestly like my color better than I did at the expensive place.
I would never spend $200 on a haircut, let alone $800. I have gone to the same guy for 13 years and he charged me $12 (now I let him tan for free and he cuts my hair for free). I don't even know any women who spend more than $150 for their hair and that would only be when they're getting color/perm, too.
okay to be more realistic, females do get their hair done for a couple of hunderd sometimes, but not $800. i guy can get his haircut by his boy for free. lol
